Egypt is one of those places that I feel like you have to go to at some point in your life time. It is such an amazing place, filled with so much history. And there is something about standing next to a pyramid that is like 5000 years old, that just blows your mind! I had the greatest time in Egypt! I loved Cairo, even thought I've heard other people say they thought it was just a big, dirty city. It is big, and the traffic is absolutely crazy, but I loved every minute of it.
Oh, and the ISIC card (International Student ID card) will save you soooo much money in Egypt! I got 50% off of every tourist attracting with my ISIC card. Everyone I was traveling with was totally jealous, because every single place we went I got in for 50% off. It was great!
One of the coolest things I did in Egypt was to take a hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings at sunrise. I had never been in a hot air balloon before, and watching the sunrise over the desert and the ruins was just freakin' amazing! It gives me goose bumps just thinking about it!
Everyone needs to go Egypt. That's all there is to it!
