I'm flying to Rome Saturday. Actually I won't arrive until Sunday, when I'm dazed and confused with jet lag, wandering around the city trying to find my friend. The plan- 2 nights Rome, 3 nights in Paris, 2 nights in London.

I've been to Rome and London before but this will be a first for Paris. We'll be staying at the infamous St Christopher's hostel, which I'm looking forward to since it's just been renovated. Not to mention it's only 2 stops from the Eurostar station, which is how we're getting to London. In London we'll be staying at The Generator, another first!

My friend better have a cup of gelato ready and waiting for me because I have a feeling that will set me straight on Sunday!

The rule: If it's not fun, I'm not doing it. We'll see how that goes for standing in line at the Coliseum on Day 1
