So I have not heard anything about my intern video and I am a bit bummed. I really would love a chance to talk to someone with STA in regards to why I should be the one picked. The 3 min video was just not realistically enough time for me to explain why I am awesome and deserver this :) But really I dont think that even a fraction of my love of people and travel and my art with pictures and film came thru with my video. I know that the deadline is drawing near, and so I really think that it is important to give me a ring a ling ling. Once you hear me and my desire for this I think you will see why I think I am the best person for the job.

Oh hey there, I know exactly what you mean. However, I guess it’s kinda like a college essay where you have to pick and choose the best words to express in that time why you- and apparently someone did. They were contacting those that were shortlisted on Friday March 7th- and my heart sank quite a bit as that call didn’t come for me either. Anyhow, I guess even just applying got me even more pumped up for traveling so I’ll still see the world, Ill just go poor doing so. Don’t let your travel passion fade- let’s get out there!

Same here i got super bad gas when I didn’t recieve an e-mail or phone call on the 7th. Although I’m thinking positively about winning one of these other really great contest they have and at the same time saving up my money for that next adventure. STA should hook a group of us applicants up and put together a trip so that we could meet. Anyone else feels the need to agree say something, It could happen.
