Fat Tire Bike Tours London- Day Bike Tour

Tour Description: Fat Tire Bike Tours, founded in 1999, welcomes you on our Day Bike Tour, the perfect experience for both those new to the city and London veterans. For the beginners, this tour offers a fantastic orientation and provides an opportunity to see all of the sites on your list. For the veterans, we’re positive you’ll learn new facts and stories about London, causing you to fall further in love with this wonderful city. Come ride with the best. See more! Less effort! More fun!

Tour Price: Students/Children - £12, Adult- £15 (No reservation needed.)

Tour Duration: 4 hours (We ride in the rain or shine seven days a week. Ponchos available for wet weather.)

Meeting Point: Look for your guide immediately upon exiting from the Queensway (Central line) Underground Station. There is only one exit to street level, and we’ll be right there (with a large Fat Tire sign and a smiling face). We’ll walk to our bikes (three minutes away) and be off on tour.

Highlights of the tour include: Hyde Park (Originally purchased by King Henry VIII, this former private hunting ground and safe-haven for thieves is now one of the most famous parks in the world.), Buckingham Palace (The home to the Royal Family for 170 years. This 661 room palace remained the dwelling of the monarchy throughout the Second World War (being hit seven times by German air strikes).), Trafalgar Square (Whose statue stands at the center of Trafalgar Square? The answer is Lord Nelson, who lost his life at the Battle of Trafalgar, defeating a combined Spanish and French force. Today the square is home to events, ceremonies, festivals, and much more.), Big Ben (Keeping debatably accurate time, the Clock Tower and Big Ben (the more than 13-ton bell), overlook Westminster Bridge. The hourly chimes can be heard 4.5 miles away.), Parliament (Home to the House of Lords and the House of Commons, the decisions made here, at one point, directly affected 1/4 of the world’s inhabitants.), etc. Also…Westminster Abbey, St. James Park, the Royal Albert Memorial, the Cabinet War Rooms, Kensington Palace & Park, Princess Diana’s Memorial, and a pub stop for lunch or a snack (not included).
