I joined the miitary because I get that itch. Luckily the first two years they sent me to two separate places but now I’ve been stationed in one palce for the past three years on an island where I can’t even go on road trips. So about a year and a half in I started to get the itch. Now I’m just stir crazy.

I live in a city (Pittsburgh) that has almost constant crummy weather. Once a year my family and I go on a big vacation, and every now and then I get the itch to go on a little vaca by myself. I think I always have the itch, especially in winter. In fact, the Itch happens to me so often I think I have Travel Fleas.

omgoodness.! every day. every single time i see a show about platypuses in australia or hear spanish or eat spaghettii or i hear people talk about any kind of traveling plans. i want to do it. its horrible! i have the itch and no funds to cure it.

i think once you’ve got bitten by the travel bug…you’ve got the itch for life. i’ve been itching and scratching once i arrive back home from a trip.

i need a new environment to revel in, a new culture to explore, and interesting people to meet with amazing life stories EVERY single day. once i save up some money, i’m hoping i can make it to south africa

Mine is more of a constant drum!!! I love travel. I have not done a big trip since summer before last when I went to Europe for a month and a half. I have done little trips, New York, Cali, etc… but I cannot wait to head out to the unknown again. I am going to Europe this summer and will travel around for a while and then I plan on taking a year off after college and before Grad school to travel around the world and work. I think I will forever have an insatiable appetite for travel.

I truly don’t think the itch goes away! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Nothing can fill the void that is TRAVEL.
