Grand Canyon

My boyfriend and I experienced an adventurous trip to the Havasupai Indian Reservation and the Grand Canyon. We took amazing photographs that did not do the waterfalls justice or the canyon justice.

We hiked 50 miles in 5 days with about 20-30 lbs on our backs. It was well worth it. When looking out over the Grand Canyon from Mather lookout, I was extremely nervous about hiking all the way down to Phantom Ranch and back up. I was already sore from our 20 mile hike at the Havasupai Reservation. How could I do it?

We conquered it! We both found that going back up was easier than going down, which was not what we were expecting! We had the time of our lives, and I still would have carried my bad because it is something you can say you have done.
