I'm almost done with my first academic year abroad! The experience has been truly life changing. Meeting other students in my program from all over the world (Austria, Australia, UK, and Iran) has really made a difference in my perceptions of the world. I can't wait to use my connections and travel to all these interesting countries!
Spain itself has been a real pleasure. They say that Spain is sort of the "vacation" country of Europe, but it is also jam packed with culture. I think that it may be a little to relaxed, but for 9 months it has been the perfect mixture of sights, cultural experiences, and relaxing.
I studied in Alicante, Spain but I also traveled to Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, and Sevilla. All of these cities are beautiful and I highly recommend that Spain is not left out of your Eurotrip!
