Hi there,
I am planning to go to Thailand at the end of August 08, will stay in Bangkok for 3 days, see the country, culture, people, Buddhist temples, …. Then to Phuket or the Phi Phi islands for another 3 days, they have the best beaches in the world!

After wards, early Sep 08, for a couple of weeks if not more, I will go to Australia (Sydney & Melbourne mainly) and New Zealand (Auckland & Wellington), where I will do some of the touristic stuff, bungee jumping, Sydney opera, surfing; also work, and volunteer in some NGOs there, get to meet the people, know the issues, go to some exotic conservation natural parks, ......

I will do 3,4,5 stars hotels in Thailand, it's pretty cheap. But for Australia, most probable I'll stay at hostels and youth clubs, spend more on activities.
