I am starting my travel diary, but am not traveling right now. I live in good ol' Oregon, about 2 hours from the beautiful coast. I am going to be a sophomore in college, and am studing to become a history teacher.

Last summer, I spent 5 1/2 weeks in Northern India. I went with Global Crossroads, a volunteer program. I stayed/worked at an orphanage in Bhondsi Village, Badshapur, which housed a little over 40 kids. I had a blast with all the children, they were so great!

While in India I also got the chance to travel the "Golden Triangle". We (my group of volunteers) traveled from New Delhi to Agra to Jaipur. It was awesome and I took a LOT of pictures (they're not all up yet). :D
