I've done it before, but this time I was deciding if I was going to move or not. I picked up my travel companion, someone I met at my sister's wedding who was from the small town of Carmel by Big Sur who would tell lots of stories. We stopped at my place in Santa Barbara for a night. Checked out music at Velvet Jones. Then headed up the coast. Stopped in Shell Beach about an hour and half north for a sandwhich at De Palo and Sons. Really tasty. Headed on Highway 1 10 miles North (San Luis Obispo). Beautiful drive along the coast, you've got to take it. Got to Santa Cruz and met my friend from High School and went out for a Burrito at Taquerio Puerto Vallarta. Sooo good. Next day headed down the coast to Big Sur and spent the day at the gorge and then went camping!

Decided to move to Santa Cruz...here I am now! Super chill town. Beaches, hippies, cool people. 30 minutes over the hill if you need access to a city (San Jose). Loving it.
