This is why I do what I do...

I am a travel advisor for STA Travel in Chapel Hill - soon to be transfering to NYC!! I recieved this email today and I can't stop smiling about it!

"Hey Jenny, I have been trying to figure out how to send the pictures, but I am an idiot when it comes to computers, so i will try to get a friend of mine to help me send them, or i may be coming through chapel hill pretty soon, so i can just drop them off, but here's a quick rundown, which should accompany the pictures.

Madrid was a really cool place, despite it being really hot, having bad food and everyone really liking that umbrella song, but anyway, we saw a lot of the city, mastered the metro, went to a bullfight, took lots of pictures there, pretty self explanatory, and in one, you will notice the last shot of my camera, which has since been lost somewhere between pamplona and barcelona. We also took a picture of picasso's La Guernica, which is apparently against the rules, but on to pamplona, I ran with the bulls, and you will clearly see the fear on my face in one picture, but there are a lot of random pictures of "el encierro" and if you look closely, you can see me in one, but I may need to point it out. There is also this "big head parade" after the bulls run, which is really weird and crazy and stops traffic, and there are some pictures of that. Pamplona itself is just nuts, lots of drunk people in old, narrow cobble stone streets, and noone sleeps, pictures can't do justice.

We caught a train to barcelona from pamplona because it was literally the only way out. So we hung out in barcelona for the day which has nice beaches, and thought we were waiting on a train to Nice, but something was lost in translation. Long story short, brooks, myself and two other gringos(pictured on train) with our same problem paid a smelly cab driver way to much to take us to some dirty french town where we picked up our train and eventually we got to Nice a day later.

Nice was cool but expensive, only one picture I think, so on to Firenze. Saw some art, which was surprisingly entertaining, and the duomo was really cool. We also rented scooters, and that turned out to be the most dangerous thing we did because we accidently took them on a highway, and then down a one way street, where brooks wrecked his, but thankfully no injuries to him, only to the scooter.

From florence, we went to Venice, which was cool to see once, but was really expensive and hot so we headed a day early to munich, but not before we tried to go to harry's bar but we didn't meet the dress code.

Munich was really nice, we went on mike's bike tours, which we highly recommend, and the irish looking fellow in one of the pictures was our guide. Drank lots of beer, and somehow ended up at a techno club, which was an experience in itself (see hungover picture). Went to Dachau, which was pretty eerie, but important nonetheless.

We then went to interlaken a day early and stayed at this awesome hostel called Balmer's and it was a blast. Switzerland was really nice also, but again expensive, but we did a lot of hiking, took lots of cool pictures, spent one day canyoning, which is sort of a cross between rock climbing and playing in a river, and then we went skydiving, which was AWESOME(see pictures, but again, can't do it justice)!! We left interlaken totally broke and exhausted, got ourselves to milan where we got a cheap (relative) flight to madrid, spent a night in the airport which sucked and finally got back home.

This is the abridged version and there is so much more to say, and hopefully the pictures will help with that, but again, we met a ton of cool people from literally all over the world, saw a lot of cool stuff, and had a ton of fun. It was an adventure to say the least.

Thanks again for everything, and I will be back when I make some more money.
Grazie, Ciao, Eric"
