Salve from Rome!
Here is our third travel update on the amazing trip that just keeps getting more and more exciting. Jenny and I are now in Rome, Italy and will be leaving here tomorrow to go to Florence. Between the last update and now we have seen and done so much! We spent a couple days in Barcelona which was great. It was one of our favorites. We were a little worried at first about getting around such a big city all alone, but we got the hang of it after a while and really explored the city. From Gaudi's impressive architecture to the Picasso museum, we saw just about everything. We also had a night to remeber at a fancy little resturaunt by the beach (thanks to Kevin and Alicia for that recommendation). It was hard to leave, but we had to move on.
We are in Rome now. There is no way around it, touring Rome is exausting. It is HUGE! Everywhere you turn there is a picture to be taken. The Colloseum, the roman forum, the pantheon, St. Peters, the Vatican, and the list goes on. But we have seen it all. The heat has been hard to get used to, but we are doing our best to stay hydrated and cool. The food has been delicious as well.
We are on to Florence tomorrow for 3 days, then Siena and Venice.
Tonight we are taking it easy and resting up. We will write again soon.
