Give yourself a rest when flying between Lima (a sea level) and Cuzco (in the Andes). You will be super excited and such but you don't want to over exzert yourself in the thin mountain air. Rent 'The Motorcyle Diaries' to see what I mean.
The Cathedral de San Francisco in Lima has really cool catacombs. Its a must see.
