I actually live near DC, so I've been there many times. My dad worked in the capital building, so I've seen a lot of what the city has to offer- pretty cool stuff. I really hope one day I get the funds for the academy, it looks really awesome.

I just read your post about the Travel Channel Academy (or at least adventure trying to get there... DC can be chaotic at times to say the least...). I just wanted to know how it went??? I would LOVE to go, but currently do not have the funds. Any reason why you went, are you looking into journalism, etc? Anyhow, can't wait to hear from you!!!
