As far as being "enough time" in each city, i think you might want more than a day... I'm not too well versed in the Italian cities besides rumors of fashion and filth, but I know that even living in Paris I didn't have nearly enough time to take it all in. In switzerland, I know Interlaken seems to be the one stop on everyone's list, but it seems to offer very little other than being a place where all backpackers seem to meet. Again, I'd recommend getting out in the country whenever you can... the dolomites (italy) and again southern, italian-speaking switzerland are pretty phenomenal. London sounds great... right now I'm thinking about going off to Britain at some point soon, and I think Glastonbury is one of the primary reasons. Le time know if you gots anything else...

Sure... I'll give you a run-down by country: Switzerland: I was living in (lenk) Switzerland at the time, and would highly reccomend checking out the italian-speaking part of the country (canton of ticino) France: If you've never been, go to basque country... I felt far more comfortable in the french cities (bayonne, biarritz) than the spanish (bilbao, san sebastian), plus there were less people and more waves for surfing and general beach recreation. next time I'm going to explore in the countryside somehow. Austria (Vienna): great museums, very regal, good food Slovakia (Bratislava): don't go... it's really drab and uninteresting Czech (Prague): beautiful, sprawling, amazing archtecture, great music and nightlife Hungary (Budapest): favorite place in eastern europe, the feel, the people, the history, and the fellow travellers all combined in great fashion. Let me know if you want a little more info on each place
