Hi Jessica.. Glad to be friends too..can never have too many of those! So off to melbourne in the spring huh? Super jealous...one of my favorite cities in oz. Melbourne is super cool, has the big city feel (kinda like SFO mixed with Seattle) great beaches and surf spots, and then also a cool little hippish beach area called St.kilda too. Melbourne is a melting pot of culture and experince. You will love it. Well lucky for you there are more expensive places in the world =)....in spring time probably averages about $800-1000 plus taxes. You can also do free stops in New Zealand or Fiji, etc etc. The price will ultimately de determined on the dates you want to travel. I have been to OZ a couple times andhave friends all over.
