Ya, I don't know how the whole friending thing works either on here, do have facebook? maybe we could do it on there. I was really glad I kept up with my bog to. I did the same scrapbook idea to with them, except in a more manuel way by printing them out and gluing them into the book (I finally got a mac in october though so any more journeys will def be done that way). So what school are you attending in Israel? You said you have one more semester there? Probably my biggest regret from college (I graduated last may) was not studying abroad twice, If I had done SAS earlier in my college career I probably would have done it twice, no matter how much money. I had a good friend from SAS that spent this last semester studying abroad in Italy and I must say I was a little jealous. I figure this whole thailand thing would be my substitue and I'll be getting paid to do it at least.

I actually remember reading you blog during that summer, it was a good to have a little more info :) I think once you've done SAS you want to get back anyway you can. If I could have afforded it I would def have gone on last summers voyage and if I was still eligible I would totally go on this summers voyage but as is I'm already going to be paying on my SAS loan from now until eternity :) So you're in Israel right now??? How is it? I've always wanted to go. Once we left SE Asia I knew I had to go back and I have a couple friends teaching in Thailand this year and it looks absolutely amazing so I applied to teach at the same school and now I'm just waiting to hear back. The ability to take weekend trips to Phuket and Cambodia and even Burma would be so amazing. And then it's a lot cheaper to get to Austrailia and New Zealand too. It's my goal in life to go to all 7 continents and I still haven't been south of the equater (within 1 degree but not quite there). I'm glad you found me, we'll have to keep talking :)

hi! My name's Lydia and I recently moved to Pasadena from upstate NY. I'm interested in meeting people to share travel stories and maybe an adventure or two! Where have you traveled? I lived in Mexico for a year as an exchange student, studied Mayan ruins in Honduras, toured Costa Rica, learned about tropical birds in the Dominican Republic, saw Niagara Falls 3 times, visited my brother in Germany twice (he's been living there for 13 years!), and sailed from Puerto Vallarta Mexico to Papeete, Tahiti via the Marquesas =) Currently I'm thinking about heading down to New Zealand over winter break... Hope to hear from you soon - I'd love to hear about your travels! ~Lydia =)
