DON'T OVERPACK!!! (Seriously, you'll thank me later.) Is it really neccessary to look like you just stepped off a runway (modeling runway, that is) while you're trapsing around being a tourist? No!... (Read More)

Here is the website that I like the most. http://www.divesitedirectory.co.uk/red_sea_dahab.html This lists all of the dive sites around Dahab and gives some info about each one. You wont be able to get to completely untouched sites. However, the Blue Hole is the most popular dive site around Dahab. It is absolutely gorgeous, but also has some risks. Other sites are not nearly as busy since most people are at the Blue Hole or going further South to Sharm el-Sheikh. Personally, I have only done dives around the Blue Hole or other locations entirely. So, I cant give specific suggestions more than that.

Hi there, It sounds like you are planning an exciting trip this summer. If you really want to dive in the Red Sea, there are plenty of options. Chances are, Top Deck has some dive instructors and rentals that they would recommend. Unfortunately, my favorite Dive Master there is getting ready to move to the US. One thing to really pay attention to is the altitude change. If you are going to do Mt. Sinai the following day, you should not dive. You need to have a couple of days to let the pressure relax before going on a plane or up mountains.
