Travel Tips
- When getting shot, try to take it in the shoulder
- Be open and do things that are normally not you. You may actually find yourself in those actions.
- When I visit a new city I like to leave the map in my bag for the first day to just concentrate on my surroundings. I like to just let myself wander with no agenda so that later when I do look at the map I can understandthe city better.
- When I visit... Europe I always take full advantage of public transportation and try to avoid cabs. This saves money and nine times out of ten you'll get lost and find something you weren't expecting!
- Don't be afraid to go local.
- When I visit other countries, I always make sure that I have hand sanitizer, lotion!
Also, make sure that you have memorized any important phone numbers if an emergency comes up! Physical theft can happen, not so much mental!
- When I visit... each country I try to absorb the culture without judging or critisizing.
- Roll don't fold clothes
- Traveling is more than about seeing the sights; its a change that goes one, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living. - Miriam Beard
