Talk to as many locals as you can, so that you can discover all that there is to know about an area from someone who experiences it everyday; you can also learn about amazing views and different areas that might not always be on the travel itinerary!
Plan on losing your luggage, pack light, go to outdoor markets, meet locals, walk a lot.

I bring journals, pens, and tape. I have a really bad memory so I have to write every detail down or I will forget it. I tape napkins from restaurants, matches, phone numbers, into this journal.
When I visit...Australia...remember to bring warm clothes. And a camera. Also a lot money!!! Australia is the best!
Learn a little about the country and just try and have fun. Be open minded and take it all in.
