When I traveled to England we stayed in a hostel and it still cost us an arm and a leg and NEVER slept!! If you are going you might as well spend the cash and get a cheap hotel b/c the hostel was horrible!
When visiting europe bring a backpacking back pack so you are able to see as much as you want to see in europe.
1. If you have friends of friends in a place you've never been before... make sure they become your friends.
