hi! My name's Lydia and I recently moved to Pasadena from upstate NY. I'm interested in meeting people to share travel stories and maybe an adventure or two! Where have you traveled? I lived in Mexico for a year as an exchange student, studied Mayan ruins in Honduras, toured Costa Rica, learned about tropical birds in the Dominican Republic, saw Niagara Falls 3 times, visited my brother in Germany twice (he's been living there for 13 years!), and sailed from Puerto Vallarta Mexico to Papeete, Tahiti via the Marquesas =) Currently I'm thinking about heading down to New Zealand over winter break... Hope to hear from you soon - I'd love to hear about your travels! ~Lydia =)

That's pretty cool! I have been here since January. Until the end of August I was working as a nanny for an American family, since then I have been living with a friend and hanging out until i go home to California next month.

I'm in Idar-Oberstein, in Rhineland-Pfalz. It's about an hour south-west of Frankfurt. How did you get your job teaching English?

September is a week away! That is awesome! If you go to Croatia, let me know. I have a friend who works at a resort there and he loves to take people out on his sailboat! Seriously, get in touch with me. Working for STA is awesome! Besides the chance for free trips, we also get to talk about travel and help people travel all day long. It's great! You should consider working for us when you get back. Although, I don't think we have a branch in South Dakota. Post on here and let everyone know how the teaching English thing goes! Pics too k?

Yes, South Dakota one of the best states to drive through for sure! Can't imagine how it would be to grow up there - probably awesome! How do you all feel about Wall Drug? I am in NYC studying at the New School and working for STA. It is only my first week here, but I am loving it! Sounds like Slovakia is now on my list! When will you be there again?

Your picture reminds me just how much I love driving through South Dakota! haha. Would you recommend Slovakia to someone who has never been to that part of the world? What is it like?
