Hi Basilia--regarding cities to see, everyone has a different opinion on favorite cities, but I certainly have mine. Why don't you email me directly and tell me your tentative itinerary or your vague idea and I and my staff can make some suggestions of places we think you should add in! In addition, when you got your railpass you should have gotten a guide and timetable--the timetable will you tell you when reservations are required. Other than that, many of the high speed trains, such as the TGV in France and the Thalys in Belgium and the Netherlands either require a reservation or may have a supplement. In fact, if you are traveling in the summer, even if reservations aren't required, they are often recommended, as trains fill up fast in the summer. gwu@statravel.com
