Lastly, for transportation, the cheapest (usually) is to take a shared taxi from city to city. They're the Mercedes cars, but they pack in no less than 5-6 people in them before going from town to town. Everyone pays a flat rate. The more comfortable and recommended way to travel is by CTS bus. Some buses may be cheaper, but it's worth the 2 USD to have the newer, more comfortable bus. Trains work, but can be shady- especially if you're planning to travel alone. Flying is also an option. The planes are small. Flights aren't super pricey, but will be more than the bus. Okay, that's it for right now. I'll try to get you some names of hotels soon (just can't remember right now). I can also help you book your trip. I'm usually in the Pittsburgh office and you can call the number above to get my direct extension. Have a good day!

I had to cut my last message short. I also wanted to advise that you not go to Casablanca for longer than 1 night. There are some nice areas, but your time is definitely better spent in Fez or Marrakesh (or in the Sahara). Casablanca is a modern city. The mosque is very cool to see and sitting by the water at the Miami restaurant is nice, but you're coming from Spain where you can do that. If you want to see the most while traveling, I'd recommend going with Imaginative Traveler. They'll keep it a genuine experience, as long as you don't do a comfort trip. Gotta run again. Maybe you can call me next week? I'll message my number next.

Hi Kmarian, There are plenty of cheap, family-run hotels in Morocco. Just understand that their standards and ours (in the US) are quite different. In Marrakesh, for instance, flies landing on your plate in the breakfast room with a sleeping stray cat on the bench next to you could be a reality. Personally, I can be fine with it, but everyone's different. For me, the location matters most. I can get you the names of the properties I stayed in in Fez and Marrakesh. I'm out of town right now though. When is your trip?
