It looks like you had a great time in Thailand. So where is your next trip?

I'm going to be here until the end of May. After finals I'm going island hopping in Greece for a week.

SEE Byron Bay!!! Its the very best! Sydney is my favorite city in the world and anything there is good. Cairns is pretty special as well. Anywhere in Australia is quite amazing. Have fun and good luck being Student World Traveler. I am trying out too!

Hey! I went to a bunch of little out of the way places on my way to Varanasi, but I'd have to say that Orccha was my favourite. Its this tiny little town, but is completely gorgeous. As for Delhi or Bombay, it all depends on how much hecticness you want to experience :) Both are frenetic, but in completely different ways. Delhi is sort of spread out, with a discernable old and new town. Bombay is just CRAMMED with everything in the smallest space imaginable. So, depending on what you're up for, both are interesting to see :) I didnt get a chance to get down to Goa when I was there, but I hear its a must! Cheers, Carolyn

Crazy'bout Thailand junkies rock! I've been home for 8 months now, and I still have the traveling bug... Seeing your pics from Koh Phi Phi brought back all the amazing times there. Carpe Diem, Sunflower bar, reggae concerts on the beach...what a blast! How could I forget the cliff jumping and diving?! So you're heading back in January? Should be a great adventure. I traveled around most of your itinerary; I would take up your whole page with suggestions. Where are you going first? Have you planned anything, or just seizing the moment of adventure? Both are great ideas, but if you're going for a year then definitely research how long you are permitted to stay in each country on travel visas. Thailand you can stay up to 3 months without border hopping. Australia should be the only country you'll have to plan your visa in advance. All the other countries you can obtain the visas days to a week before entry, and usually be able to stay a month. Any other suggestions just ask! Have an amazing trip!

Yes, I like to have a destination in mind, but no, that doesn't mean I don't love the adventure of figuring out how to get there and of the random people/places I come across along the way. Plans are always flexible, but I still like having a general idea of what I'm doing so I don't waste the opportunity of being in such amazing places that have so much to offer. Where were you in Ireland?

Hi! I suppose technically "yes". =) You can look for STA Travel jobs on Careerbuilder to see if there are any availabilities in your area! If you love travel and want to help others get to where they dream, it would be a perfect job for you. Good luck!

i loved the diving at Treasure Island and Beachcomber which is just across from it. The snorkelling is just as good though. With the Dives you get to see the deep sea fish and turtles. The Coral coast doesnt have that much snorkelling but they do have dive trips. Hope that helps.

Sounds fantastic!! There's so much more of SE Asia that I want to see. Thailand was an all too short sneak-peek of what that region has to offer. Where do you plan to travel? Sadly enough, I'm no longer on the road...I'm back at school finishing my final year (way less exciting than exploration). Good luck with the travel planning!
